Let our hearts be transformed by the presence of Christ!

This August, Living with Christ features the joyful image of Sr. Maria Paz Moreta, RA, as
she welcomes the students of the Assumption College San Lorenzo.

In this issue, Fr. Jay Lituañas inspires us to reflect on the story of the Assumptionist
priest in prison, that like him, we can also whisper “Assumption!” and continue to believe
that we are destined for greater things.

In This Month’s Scriptures, Fr. Aron Gantioque reveals to us that Jesus’ Transfiguration
is calling us to seek for a deeper faith and relationship with Christ, and to be truly
transformed through His divine glory.

In Our Local Church, Ms. Yolly de Guzman encourages us to have a faith like Saint
Ezekiel Moreno, the patron saint of cancer patients, who accepted pain and suffering
and embodied the gospel through his resilience and his acts of love and compassion to
others.

May we continue to hope in the Lord and find strength in Him.
